The Masonic Association was founded in 1891 and stems from religious circles, but should not to be confused with a religion. Masons believe that a spiritual temple is in the heart and not built with the hands. Members of the Redlands Masonic Lodge meet on a weekly basis. The American Legion Club & Event Center, part of the American Legion Veterans Society is a large club set up for veterans and youth throughout the city of Redlands and the surrounding area. It provides a positive outlet for both veterans and young people by heading up charities, working with communities to embrace city sports and leagues, mentoring kids and teens and hosting social events. This newly built space will also be used as an event center, with the ability to be rented for parties, graduations and other parties.
