There are nearly 8,000 registered parishioners from over 3,000 North Hills households. The church campus also features a parochial K-8 school that includes a gymnasium. Its mission is to "joyfully meet the needs of others through Christian service in a welcoming community."
St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church was founded in 1867. It offers several ministries, and the free parking lot is located across the street from the church.
Marple Christian Church is a Disciples of Christ congregation. It runs several open events throughout the year including a yard sale and craft fair. Donations are accepted for food and linen to go toward the homeless and hungry of Delaware County. Events and religious education are open to all age groups.
Marple Christian Church is located on Lawrence Road and serves the Christian residents of Marple Township. The church is led by Pastor Janet Moore and preaches to about 100 family members in the congregation.
The church offers several programs and activities to its members, including Christian school for all ages, a youth and women's fellowships as well.
