About Del Mar Medical Clinic Del Mar Medical Clinic has been caring for families in our community for over fifty years. We have many families who have second and third generations coming to us for care. We feel the secret to our success and attraction to our clinic stems from the friendly, compassionate & dedicated physicians, our support staff and our continual commitment to providing the care you & your family depend upon and expect. As primary care physicians we have the ability to care for most of your health care needs. We are also able to provide many ancillary services on-site which provide convenience as well as consistent care. When calling to schedule your appointment, let the receptionist know the nature of your concerns or problems so that we may allow enough time for your appointment. Our first priorities are illnesses and injuries. These will always be accommodated with same-day appointments. We strive to provide quality medical care to you when you need it. To help us do this we ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep your appointment. A $50 fee may be charged to those who no show for their appointment or habitually cancel with minimal notice. A fee is assessed upon the second occurrence and isnt billed to insurance. Upon arrival in our office, check in with the receptionist and update our office with any new information. We ask all of our patients to complete a patient information form annually. We also ask that you bring your insurance card and a picture identification with you for each visit. We review all demographic and insurance information upon each visit. When you come to your first visit please bring in the following: insurance card, picture identification, list of current medications and if possible your pertinent medical records. If you are unable to obtain your previous medical records prior to being seen, let the front office know, they will have you sign an authorization and will send it to your previous physician ( s ).
