The Lake County Board of DD helps families that have someone with a developmental disability. The intake process begins at the service and support site. Families arrange an appointment, and a professional identifies what services are needed and available for the person with a developmental disability. He or she can also refer the family to other agencies that can assist. This site also maintains the waiting lists for the Board of DD's services and houses its investigative agents.
