This is the office of Suffolk County's 5th District Legislator Vivian Fisher, who serves Setauket, East Setauket, South Setauket, Stony Brook and parts of Port Jefferson Station, Terryville, Coram and Centereach as well as the villages of Belle Terre, Old Field, Port Jefferson and Poquott. The 5th Legislative District has 56 election districts containing a total of 46,713 registered voters. Fisher has been serving the 5th District since 1999.
The assessor's duties include assessing the value of property within the Village for property tax purposes. In addition, they also act as the assistant building inspector.
Southampton Village Volunteer Ambulance has vehicles equipped for both basic and advanced life support. The ambulance corps primarily transports patients to Southampton Hospital, but according to emergency protocol, the corps may travel to hospitals further west or transfer a patient to a Suffolk County Police Medevac helicopter. Department meetings are held the third Monday of each month at 7pm. Southampton Village trustee Paul Robinson is the village board liason to the ambulance corps.
Cortlandt's Justice Court is located in the back section of the Town Hall building. You can reach it by parking on the side and walking straight back through the court yard. Town meetings are also held inside of the Court room. Cortlandt's Justices are Gerald M. Klein and Daniel F. McCarthy. The room has display cases with historic military uniforms and other artifacts, donated by the Veterans Committee in 2003.

The building at 11 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. houses the State Supreme Court for the 9th Judicial District and the County courthouse. This courthouse was the eighth to be built for Westchester County.
Both civil and criminal cases are tried here. The building also houses administrative offices.
The Village of Dobbs Ferry Municipal Building is home to the village's police, fire, finance and building departments, and also houses the Village Justice Court. Full-time employees include the Village Administrator, Village Treasurer, Village Clerk and a team of administrative staff. Traffic court is in session every other Thursday evening at 7:00pm, and criminal court every Thursday at 10:00am. A multitude of permits and licenses can be obtained from the office of the Village Clerk, including hunting and fishing licenses, birth and death certificates, parking permits, taxi licenses and peddler's permits. It also has a notary on staff who will notarize documents for a fee of $2.
Located on Commerce Street, the Yorktown Teen Center is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization providing a fun and safe environment for Yorktown's youth. The community center is open after school four days a week and is host to a variety of activities, including open mic nights. Offices for the Westchester County District Attorney are located in the Westchester Supreme and County Courthouse. The District Attorney's office handles nearly 40,000 cases a year, and is broken into five divisions.
The county's 38 criminal investigators work under the Investigations Division. In addition to working on investigative cases, it also works on homicide, sex crime, child and domestic abuse and other prosecutions brought from the other divisions in the District Attorney's office.
