The City of New Rochelle Sewers and Drains Department is located near the Marina at 40 Pelham Road. The building includes a garage area for New Rochelle Public Works vehicles and offices. The department is responsible for maintaining the proper functioning of the entire New Rochelle sewer and drainage system, including drain lines, pump stations, catch basins and brooks.
The Bureau of Sewers and Drains responds to complaints and flooding emergencies year-round. Call in the event of a suspected sewer or drain problem.
The Office of Special Education for the New Rochelle Board of Education is located on the second floor of City Hall, which can be found on North Avenue between Hamilton Avenue and Manor Place. Yvette Goorevitch presides as the director of this particular branch and oversees relevant matters. Responsibilities include the coodination of all alternative education programs including the Health Career Program, the College Success Class and the Culinary Arts Program.
The Clerk's office at the City of New Rochelle City Court is located on the second floor of the New Rochelle courthouse at 475 North Avenue. The primary responsibilities of the office include maintaining court records and documents, preparing dockets for court cases, collecting payments and fees to the court and directing court staff members.
