West Roxbury Main Streets (WRMS) is a non-profit organization that works to promote West Roxbury's business district.
The office is in suite 206.
WRMS has a four prong approach to achieving its revitalization goals: enhancing the physical appearance of the commercial district; improving its economic stability; marketing its features and benefits; and promoting community involvement.
The organization does this through fundraisers and business events.
The West Roxbury Police Station is at the Holy Name Rotary and polices West Roxbury as well as neighboring Roslindale and a small part of Hyde Park.
The district is led by Capt. James Hasson and has a known reputation for being responsive to residents' concerns and questions.
The community room is used by several local groups and organizations regularly, including the Boy Scouts and the West Roxbury Neighborhood Council.
This is also a voting station for elections.
This is the West Roxbury Day Habilitation branch of the Brockton Area Multi-Services non-profit human services organization. There are programs for developmentally disabled individuals, seniors, as well as family counseling. Walk inside and you might see a group game in-progress, or in another room you could see duo playing Nintendo Wii.
