Sherborn's Town Hall is located on Washington Street. The building's many municipal offices include the Assessor's Office, Board of Health, Building Department, Conservation Commission, Council on Aging, Planning Board, Selectmen's Office, Tax Collector, Town Accountant, Town Clerk, Town Moderator and Town Treasurer.
Many of Sherborn's town government board and committee meetings are held at the Town Hall.
The Sherborn Fire Department on North Main Street in Sherborn is a full-service fire station. Along with its several fire engines, Sherborn Fire also has an ambulance. The station responds to about 600 calls a year, including EMS calls. Acting Chief Jonathan Dowse is in charge of about 50 firefighters.
The Sherborn Police Department is located on Washington St. behind the Sherborn Town Hall. It has twelve full-time officers and two part-time officers. Sherborn PD is a full-service police station under the helm of Chief Richard Thompson III.
The Sherborn Town Hall and Police Station are located on the same property at 19 Washington Street, near the intersection with Maple. At this location residents can work with city officials in any department including the collector, the council on aging, the maintenance and development committee and others. City forms and documents can also be downloaded from its Web site. Additional parking is located at the rear of the building.
