The Miami Parking Authority, officially known as the Department of Off-Street Parking of the City of Miami in Florida, was established in 1995. The authority is engaged in the development, construction and management of parking facilities, including more than 10 garages, over 85 surface lots, and nearly 500 pay and display meters. The Miami Parking Authority provides on- and off-street parking for approximately 5 million vehicles annually. The authority sponsors various events and festivals, as well as provides online pay and display machines. The Miami Parking Authority supports the Motorcycle Parking Program.
