Established in 1968, the plant discharges wastewater from the cities of Tolleson, Peoria and Sun City in Arizona. Wastewater Treatment Plant offers a range of mechanical bar screening and grit removal services. The plant has several sedimentation tanks, trickling filters and intermediate clarifiers. Wastewater Treatment Plant also maintains sludge pumps, steam boilers, anaerobic digesters and drying beds. The utilities department supplies safe drinking water and provides water quality and billing services.
