The Community Services Department is administered by the government of City of La Mirada in California. The department offers a variety of recreational, social and transportation services. It is responsible for the development and maintenance of parks. The Community Services Department provides services at the La Mirada Resource Center, Splash! La Mirada Regional Aquatics Center, La Mirada Gymnasium and La Mirada Activity Center. The department also offers a range of activities, such as basketball, volleyball, badminton and table tennis. It provides morning exercise programs for senior citizens. In addition, the Community Services Department offers more than 500 classes quarterly. The department provides aquatic, break dancing and culinary arts courses.
