Salvation Army of Pottstown holds service on Sundays at 11am. Some of the services provided are recreation and education programs for adults, as well as emergency financial assistance, shelter, food and seasonal services. Also offered is family counseling and transitional housing. The Worship Center offers ministries for youth, men and women and entertains with music, arts and education.
The Christian Science Reading Room is a business whereby patrons can read various spiritual literature. It is supported by spirituality.com, which is endorsed by The Christian Science Publishing Society. It offers magazines, books and a variety of other periodicals.
Congregation Mercy and Truth is affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judiasm. It was first chartered in Pottstown in 1892, and since then it has moved around to accommodate the growing congregation. The Women's League is an integral part because it is a big part of all the fund-raisers, such as rummage sales, flea markets and bake sales. It has Shabbat services on Friday nights and Saturday mornings, and family services on the evenings of the first Friday of every month. Morning minyan is held Sunday, Monday and Thursday mornings.
