The preschool offers an integrated Spanish curriculum as an option. Students can attend two, three, four or five days per week, and extended-day childcare is also an option. The preschoolers do a potato project in the Guardian Angels Parish garden. The produce raised in the garden is donated to the local food shelf.
Hope Church is located just a few blocks away from City Hall on Portland Avenue. The church was founded in 1953, when just a handful of people began worshipping as a Presbyterian congregation at Central Elementary School (located on the senior high school campus). In addition to its Sunday services, the church offers a variety of services to its members and the community. Some of those services include:
- Loaves and Fishes: Four days a week , Hope Church works with Loaves and Fishes, a local charitable organization, to serve dinner to anyone who wishes to enjoy it—no questions asked.
- Vines & Branches, Clothing & More: The Church also accepts clothing and household item donations, which they sell at very affordable prices to the public.
- Hope's School-Age Care: A licensed morning and afternoon child-care program for children in kindergarden through 6th grade. All are welcome.
- Hope Pre-school: The school teaches children age 3 through 5.
