New Hope Christian Church was founded in 1872 and has since then significantly expanded. This church brings forth a message of love and hope in the Lawrenceville community through worship services, youth and music groups, Sunday school and the inclusion of a Korean congregation, the New Covenant Christian Church. This diverse congregation is led by Senior Minister Rev. James Grady E. Shelton, who completed his Master of Divinity Degree at the McAfee School of Theology. The Disciples of Christ (or Christian Church) movement started in the 1800s; this congregation has been worshiping here for more than 100 years. The church seeks to go beyond denominational differences and come together as united followers of Christ. It features Sunday worship services, Sunday school, Bible studies and more.

Located on Bethesda Church Rd. in Lawrenceville, Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Gwinnett has a strong and interesting history that started in 1981 in Stone Mountain. Open to the community, the church offers worship, study and ministry services, as well as preschool classes for children. The church partners with local organizations as well as national and international missions. The Building is available for weddings or special events.
This Salvation Army location is both a place of worship and an assistance center. Sunday worship is held at 10am, and Bible study is on Sundays at 11am. Located off of Grayson Highway and Simonton Road, across the street from Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Grace is a small church with energetic and faithful members looking to grow in the community.
