Located in Tallahassee, Fla., Community Christian School is an independent, interdenominational school guided by a parent board of directors. The school enrolls students in prekindergarten through grade eight. It serves more than 300 students representing over 20 Tallahassee-area churches. The school offers small class sizes and a variety of instructional formats. Community Christian is fully accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International. Its preschool offers a curriculum developed around themes utilizing learning centers, including art, block, dramatics, language arts, Bible, larger motor, math, music, outdoor play area, the quiet place, and sand and water centers. It also offers various activities, including soccer, football, handball, baseball, basketball, floor hockey, volleyball, softball and track.
