Maryland Science Center, located in Baltimore, is a private, nonprofit organization that showcases a range of exhibits to visitors. The center features full size skeletons of dinosaurs and casts of fossilized remains. It also exhibits the live diamondback terrapins, crabs, fish, seahorses and native plants in aquatic display tanks. It showcases all kinds of fossils, such as a 70 million year old crocodile armor and teeth from a 100 million year old Mocasur. The center also has a kids room where children can send boats down a river channel in water play, operate a fish cam in a submarine and dress up like turtles. The Baltimore Museum of Industry has a collection of more than 150,000 images of Baltimore Gas and Electric. The museum exhibits broadcasting, food canning, machining, printing, garment-making and metalworking through artificially created workshops. It features a gallery and pavilion that accommodates more than 300 people at a time. The museum maintains a garment loft that exhibits the designing and production of garments. It has a machine tool shop that displays belt-driven machines, including a duplex steam pump. Additionally, the Baltimore Museum of Industry features a historical pharmacy and print shop. It also has a conference center that has a seating capacity of more than 50 people. The museum is available on rental basis for conferences, wedding receptions, funerals, reunions and anniversary celebrations. The Baltimore Museum of Industry maintains a location in Baltimore.
