Calandra’s Italian Cheese is a family-owned and operated cheese shop that has been in Upper Nazareth Township since 1949. The business is known for its handmade mozzarella and ricotta cheeses. Cheeses are made with no preservatives, using only raw milk from loal dairies. Cheeses are pasteurized on-site and sold in ropes or braids. Other specialty cheeses available include romano, asiago and fontina. The store also sells milk, cookies, biscotti and eggs from local establishments.
The Cheese Company is best known for great cheeses and variety. Gift baskets and party trays are available for any occassion. There is a big green sign located on the side of the store, as well as a green awning and a sign in the front of the store, which is very easy to see from the street. However, it is a tiny store so if you aren't looking for the signs it is easy to pass by.
