With more than 1,000,000 members, the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks is among the largest social clubs in America. Lodge #2515, located in Howell, serves local members and also sponsors community groups including boy and girl scout troops. The Elks Lodge also offers scholarships for area children. The hall can be rented for private parties with a maximum capacity of 100 people.
Southard Grange 218 is a nonprofit organization with the aim of promoting awareness about New Jersey's natural heritage and sustainable living through education about agriculture, land conservation and community service. Members meet the first Tuesday of every month to collaborate on programs and opportunities for themselves and the community.
