The National Center, also known as Olcott, is located on Main Street, just south of Geneva Road and is also the home of the Department of Education, which conducts onsite educational programs for members and the public.

Wheaton VFW Post 2164 is an organization that supports US veterans and service members as well as their families. The Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans offers classes, psychological treatment and temporary housing to veterans. Class subjects include financial planning, employment and job search and independent living skills. Activities include outings and guest speakers. Clothing donations are accepted in a drop-box at the rear of the building.
As Good As Gold Golden Retriever Rescue has been operating since 2003 and has placed over 1,200 dogs with new families. As Good As Gold is a home-based office that places the relinquished dogs directly with foster families until an adoptive family has filled out the appropriate paperwork, has had a home visit and is deemed fit for their new Golden Retriever.
