Theatre in the Mountains is a non-profit organization that offers all types of theatrical programs and activities for both children and adults in the area. The group produces various shows throughout the year, and some past productions include “The Secret Garden,” Charlotte’s Web,” “As You Like It,” “Schoolhouse Rock” and many more. Shows are held in the Loma Prieta Community Foundation/CT English Middle School Gym and there is also an outdoor amphitheater area that is used for shows. The group also holds a summer conservatory program for kids 18 and under as well as a summer adult-oriented production. First incorporated in 1999, the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce “provides Los Gatos with activities that promote networking and visibility for our members as well as bringing residents and visitors to Los Gatos,” said Ronee Nassi, the chamber's executive director.

Dianne Anderson serves as chamber president and said the organization uses its resources to benefit the community and contribute to the continued economic growth in Los Gatos.

With about 400 members, most of them small businesses, the chamber looks to help them market to a mass audience with its website and programs.

By partnering with the Visitors Bureau, a partnership with the Town of Los Gatos, the chamber has created several programs, such as the annual carriage ride, which boasts more than 2,000 riders per season.

This is the official chapter of The Mason Lodge for the town of Los Gatos. Freemasonry is a worldwide fraternal organization established more than 500 years ago and has approximately six million members. This private club is open to men ages 18 or older. Masons meet regularly for social activities and to discuss charitable projects. The California Masonic Foundation helps raise money for local youth services such as scholarships and free child fingerprinting. The lodge is located downtown across from the civic center. It features a meeting and a banquet hall, both of which are available to rent for weddings or other special events.

Wedemeyer Family Outreach is a Christian non-profit organization founded in 1993 by married couple Charlie and Lucy Wedemeyer. After Charlie, a football coach at Los Gatos High School, was diagnosed with ALS, he continued to coach and he and his wife became motivational speakers. This inspiring story was the subject of a PBS documentary and has helped raise global awareness of the disease. Today Lucy devotes her time to helping other families and raising donations for a cure.
