A nonprofit organization established by artists from Malibu, Free Arts for Abused Children offers a variety of programs for neglected and abused children and teenagers. Children from 8-18 take dance, drama, writing, music, and painting classes to help them channel their emotions, release anger, and develop trust with adults. Free Arts also offers the Parents and Children Together with Art program to help families in crisis communicate and connect.

Central City Action Committee is a non-profit program where minority youth can work in their community.  Central City Action Committee spearheads a graffiti-abatement program funded by the City of Los Angeles; the graffiti is removed daily to instill a sense of pride in neighborhoods.
