V.B.R. Foundation, Inc. is dedicated to providing clean and safe foster homes, education, emotional healing and support to emotionally disabled children. Located in North Elk Grove, V.B.R. Foundation is easily accessible from Highway 99. The office is clean and modern with an ample waiting area with new chairs and televisions. The exterior is plastered with posters soliciting Foster Parent involvement. There is ample parking, including handicapped spaces, in both the rear and front of the building.
Elk Grove Food Bank Services is a nonprofit organization that works with local government agencies, businesses, donors, agencies, volunteers and others to eradicate hunger in the community. In addition to providing food, the organization offers ongoing support services and programs, including gently-used clothing and emergency food. It also holds fundraising events to support the program.
