Founded in 2000, the Florida State University College of Medicine offers a variety of educational opportunities to students. It operates more than five campuses in Orlando, Pensacola, Sarasota, Tallahassee, Daytona Beach and Fort Pierce cities in Florida. The college provides academic programs in geriatrics and clinical and biomedical science. The Florida State University College of Medicine maintains a department of family medicine and rural health. It operates Charlotte Edwards Maguire Medical Library, which has a collection of more than 2,000 electronic medical and health-related journals. The college also maintains the Division of Health Affairs. The Florida State University College of Medicine operates the Clinical Learning Center.
