Snake River Cattle Feeders, operational since 1968, is one of the six feedlots of the Agri Beef Company. It offers procurement, financing and risk management services, various marketing options, feeding programs, computerized performance and medical tracking and centralized support to parent company. It has a 250-square-foot roaming facility for its cattle and 1-foot of bunk space per animal. Snake River is a licensee of Angus Beef in the Northwest and is based in American Falls, Idaho. It uses confinement barns and a self-contained unit that separates solids from liquids and processes waste generated from barns. Snake River has a state-approved nutrient management program and has ISO 9001 and hazard analysis and critical control point certification.
