The camp is operated on a nonprofit basis and serves boys and girls between the ages of seven and 17. Because it is an agency camp, its fees are below expensive private camps, yet its facilities and programs rival the finest private camps in the United States. The camp is accredited by the American Camping Association and is a member of the Wayne County Camp Association and the Association of Jewish Sponsored Camps.
