What better idea than have some fun in the water during your day at the ocean? Located in Southampton, Hampton Watersports carries equipment, apparel and accessories for windsurfing, paddle-boarding, kite-boarding and traditional surfing. It also offers equipment rentals for use in the area and classes are available for those looking to learn a thing or two.
Shinnecock East is a Suffolk County park at the western tip of Meadow Lane in Southampton Village, on the Shinnecock inlet. The park offers camping for self-contained vehicles, saltwater fishing and off-road driving. Camping is limited to three consecutive nights.
There is a dump station with water and air. Generators may be run from 10am to 1pm and from 5pm to 9pm only.
No tent camping is permitted and skin diving or swimming is prohibited in the inlet. Fires are permitted in approved containers. Pets are permitted, but not be kept tied to a camper if the camper is unatttended. Launching or recieving boats at the park is prohibited.
Night fishing permits are required after 10pm and must be properly displayed on vehicle.
