Dance Place has been offering dance classes for children since 1992. As the company says on its Web site, "It is our belief that children learn best when having fun." But take note, Dance Place is not just for kids. It is proud to offer dances classes for adults, too. Every summer it holds dance camp, which explores a new theme each week. For example, 3 and 4 year olds start with the circus and learn to walk a balance beam. At the same time, kids 5 through 12 learn how to improvise. For more information, visit the Dance Place Web site where you can also sign up to receive studio news and updates.

Managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation, the Lorraine Campground lies within the boundaries of the Harold Parker State Forest in Andover. The campground features 89 campsites that are intentionally spread apart throughout wooded areas to give campers a more private camping experience. Camping is offered between late May and early September, and the sites do not have electric or water hookups but do feature picnic tables and a grill.
The Harold Parker State Forest consists of more than 3,000 acres of forest in the towns of North Andover, North Reading, Andover and Middleton. Notable historical figures including Frederick Douglass, Harriet Beecher Stowe and William Lloyd Garrison are said to have frequented the area.
