The Transportation Management Division is charged with improving the safety and mobility of all modes of transport throughout the city. This includes motorized vehicles as well as bikes and on-foot pedestrians. Members of the division analyze traffic patterns and parking activity, and implement programs intended to make transportation more fluid throughout Santa Monica. The division is also tasked with issuing parking permits.
