Founded in 1964, the SCORE Association is a nonprofit organization that provides advisory and training services for small-sized businesses. It offers a range of counseling services to entrepreneurs and business owners. The association provides advisory solutions in matters related to accounting, construction, franchising, manufacturing, and acquisitions and divestures. The SCORE Association also offers assistance with issues related to financial analysis, business planning, marketing, and import and export. It maintains a resource center and works in collaboration with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The SCORE Association conducts several educational workshops and seminars. It maintains an online store that provides a collection of educational materials, including books and CDs. The association has served more than 5 million individuals and operates over 350 offices throughout the U.S.
