Parnian Furniture is a pioneering family business specializing in the manufacture, design and retail of high-end modern and contemporary furnishings and accessories in Arizona for over 30 years. Founded in 1977 by Architects Abdolhay and Parvaneh Parnian, the company has passed the torch on to second generation Ali Parnian and Leila Parnian. This family team has continually maintained a reputation for quality and design forward products with its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and exclusive lines of furnishings from around the world on display in their award-winning Scottsdale and Phoenix showrooms. Parnian Story In 1977 the recently married architects Abdolhay and Parvaneh Parnian moved to Arizona and decided to use their design background to create furniture for their own home as well as their clients custom homes they were designing and building in the Phoenix area. The unique, functional and detailed quality of their furnishings was so well received that they decided to go into business as a custom high end furniture manufacturer. The first manufacturing was done in a small mini storage in Tempe, AZ. As the company slowly grew over time to larger and larger manufacturing facilities, new finishing techniques were created which were used in elaborate applications such as hand painting air brush art on table tops and cabinets. These new finishes that were painstakingly hand painted by Abdolhay Parnian and signed raised the level of Parnians products to be recognized by the International community as functional fine art. Many years later the name Parnian has become synonymous with the highest quality of both home furnishings as well as executive office furniture. With over 30 years of furniture manufacturing experience behind them, the husband-and-wife team of Abdolhay and Parvaneh Parnian have been represented in design centers across the country and have a discriminating clientele that spans the globe. In 1995 Parnian started a new chapter in its history by offering the public, for the very first time, a full-service furniture showroom and manufacturing concept. The stunning newly expanded building houses a 15, 000 square foot furniture gallery. Parnian also now has its own 27, 000 square foot manufacturing facility in Phoenix which still produces custom designed furniture hand made by some of the countrys best craftsmen using old world craftsmanship.
