Durham School Services traces its history back to 1917 to a three-bus company started in the San Gabriel Valley of California. The company is a division of the National Express Corporation, the United States subsidiary of National Express Group, one of the largest transportation firms in the United Kingdom. The company s services include regular home-to-school service, field-trip service, charter trips, summer school and camp services and service for special-needs students. In addition, the company is the official transportation sponsor for the Special Olympics Summer Games.
