Based in Chapel Hills, N.C., North Carolina Botanical Garden is a part of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The organization is one of the leaders in native plant conservation and education in the southeastern United States for more than 30 years. It works with local, state and regional conservation organizations. North Carolina Botanical Garden has partnership with the Morgan Creek Valley Alliance, an organization that preserves the biological and cultural history of the Morgan Valley Creek. Additionally, it holds the National Collection of Endangered Species.
