Founded in 1963, St. Bridget of Ireland serves more than 700 families with daily masses, sacraments and religious education for children. Located on Strawberry Hill Avenue, St. Bridget of Ireland is operated under the Diocese of Bridgeport and headed by Reverend Gill C. Babeu. Congregation members are encouraged to become active members in various ministries, including music, religious education, the Ladies Guild and St. Bridget Seniors.
One of the highlights of this parish is its religious education program, which assists parents who want to instill Catholic values in their children by offering classes for those in grades kindergarten through eighth who do not attend Catholic school.
