The Washoe house is the oldest existing roadhouse in Sonoma County. This old wooden 2 story landmark is an old stagecoach stop. Step into the old saloon and you can feel the history. On the ceiling business cards and dollar bills have been stapled up there for 50 plus years. The Washoe House has a full bar and offers Americana dining for lunch and dinner with 17 plus tables.
Brixx is a darkly lit, casual restaurant and bar that's hidden in a street niche below Western Avenue. It offers live music every Saturday night and has hurricanes on tap. The bar stays open after the kitchen closes.
Maguire's is a traditional Irish pub in the heart of downtown Petaluma. The bar features trivia nights every Wednesday, DJ music Fridays and Saturday and shows Irish football and rugby, if that's something you're into.
The beer selection is vast and the menu traditional, including bangers and mash, corned beef and cabbage, and shepherd's pie, along with burgers, fries and "more typical" bar fare.

Gale's Central Club has been in the same location since the early 1900's. This bar features beer on tap, shots, cocktails and more. In addition to serving drinks, Gale's Central Club offers a small menu of bar favorites including corn dogs, pizza, cheeseburgers and nuts.
Gale's also has two pool tables, an Adams Family pinball machine, a classic Pac Man video game and sometimes features live music on Thursday nights. Notable is the fact that, because of Gale's Central Club age, this bar is one of only a handful in Petaluma that is able to legally sell beer and liquor to go.
Mi Pueblo is a festive Mexican restaurant with wall-to-wall murals of serenading mariachis as seen through faux windows in the heart of Kentucky Street. The restaurant features a full bar, which specializes in tequila drinks. Happy hour takes place from 3 - 5pm daily. The restaurant is part of a northern California chain.
