Longhorn Steakhouse, located in Altamonte Springs, Fla., is one of more than 175 Longhorn Steakhouse restaurants located throughout the Eastern and Midwest United States. The restaurant offers a casual dining atmosphere and features a variety of lunch and dinner items, including steaks, salmon, shrimp, chicken, ribs, pork chops and prime rib, salads, soups and desserts. It also has a full bar that serves mixed drinks, wine and a wide variety of draught and bottled beers. The first Longhorn restaurant was opened in Atlanta, in 1981. Its parent company, RARE Hospitality International, owns and franchises 281 restaurants throughout the United States, including the chains of Longhorn Steakhouse, Bugaboo Creek Steak House, The Capital Grille, Hemenways Seafood Grill and Oyster Bar and The Old Grist Mill Tavern.
