New visitors to Cortez Road Baptist will notice its large, well-manicured grass lots dotted with palm trees. In addition to regular worship, the church holds Bible study at 9:30am Sundays and a prayer meeting at 7pm Wednesdays under the direction of The Rev. Roy Bruce. The church offers a bus service that transports parishioners to church on Sunday.
Hillsdale Baptist Church offers worship and fellowship services on Sundays. In 2005, the church opened the Hillsdale Baptist Church Preschool and Academy on the same grounds. The academy caters to children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Sunday services are held at 10:30am and 6pm.
