The Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art is located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. The only museum of its kind in the Midwest, the Eiteljorg Museum features Western and Native American art and cultural objects. Visit the Eiteljorg Museum in June to attend the Indian Market and Festival. The Eiteljorg is the only museum of its kind in the Midwest and the Festival is a unique opportunity to explore not only the ongoing exhibits of the museum, but also the art, music, dance, and food of Native American cultures.
