Founded in August 1983 by a Swiss baker, Therese Whitfield, who immigrated to Columbus Ohio, The Suisse Shop has created and maintained products baked with the finest ingredients that are as pleasing to the eye as they are to the palate. With well over 300 European recipes as the foundation of the bakery, the Suisse Shop has impressed over a hundred thousand customers with its artistic tortes, cakes, cookies and breads that really do taste better than they look. As the current owner with 25 years of gourmet baking experience, I am extraordinarily proud to represent the fantastic products of The Suisse Shop. By maintaining the highest standards for quality and freshness of ingredients, mixing the unique and proven recipes to the most exacting standards, and artistically decorating our products, we are certain to provide a consistent bakery product to our customers every time. Many of our customers state that the Suisse Shop is the best bakery in central Ohio. With that knowledge in mind, we will never disappoint them by allowing our quality control and high standards to diminish. It is my view that people should never waste calories on grocery store baked, or mass produced frozen, or boxed desserts.
