The Danish Pastry House is located on the corner of Boston Ave. and Winthrop St. and is often packed because of its popularity. It is a small bakery and cafe that offers a seasonal menu of danishes, croissants, pies, cheesecakes, sandwiches, and a variety of hot beverages. The Danish Pastry house also has a Sunday brunch menu and outside seating.

Tzurit Or founded this bakery based on her love for baking in her mother's kitchen. Today, the business has expanded throughout Boston and New York City, and has received recognition from renowned publications such as Oprah Magazine.
Au Bon Pain, founded in 1978, operates more than 200 restaurants worldwide. In July 2005 the company became 75 percent owned by veteran employees. There is a kiosk with nutritional information inside.
