Goldstein's Bagel Bakery has been baking quality bagels since 1989. It not only offers bagels, but a breakfast and lunch menu, including hot dogs, burgers, eggs and bacon, tacos and burritos. The bagels are made from scratch using only all natural ingredients with no preservatives or additives of any kind. The bagels are available in house or delivered wholesale. It's a slower pace inside the restaurant, but for those on the-go, there is a drive-thru on the side. This is one of two locations, the other is in La Canada.
Moffett's Chicken Pie Shoppe is a classic American family restaurant. The decor is like an old American diner. If in search of an affordable home-style meal at a reasonable price, Moffett's is renown for the chicken pot pie. Patrons rave about the crust, the pie, the gravy and everything that goes along with the meal. The staff is extremely friendly. deCroupet's is located along Arcadia's well-known and busy East Huntington Dr. It is a large, bright store that is filled with cooking food and decoration items for the production of all kinds of pastries.
Some of the items it offers include baking pans, pastry bags, candles, icings, dollies, boxes and much more. It also offers cooking classes that include beginner, intermediate and advanced cooking classes.
The classes run as five, two hour classes that can be for adults or for kids' classes. It accepts all kinds of credit cards and has a return for store credit policy for convenience.
There is free parking on the street outside as well.
Beard Papa's is a bakery that specializes in cream puffs. At the bakery, customers select their pastry and filling and can see the whole process as the staff fills it right before their eyes. The cream puffs are made with Beard Papa's natural recipe of custard and whipped cream. Flavors offered on weekdays are vanilla bean, strawberry, chocolate and caramel. Every Saturday and Sunday it offers special flavors like vanilla/chocolate, green tea, pumpkin and coffee. Beard Papa's also offers cheesecakes, bon bons, éclair puffs, cookie puffs, Paris Brest and drinks including mango milkberry, lemonade, strawberry lemonade and mango ice shower. The employees are cheery and helpful. It is located just down the street from the Santa Anita Race Track and the Los Angeles Arboretum. It is also close to many shops, restaurants and salons.
