The City of Fairfax Professional Firefighters and Paramedics is an employee group comprised of the uniformed employees of the City of Fairfax Fire Department. They are committed to serving the citizens of Fairfax City, upgrading the image of the firefighter and paramedic, and improvement of it's members in all aspects of their vocation. They are often involved in community events as well as promoting fire safety education through their monthly community newsletter.

The Galapagos Conservancy raises funds to preserve the environment in Ecuador's Galapagos Islands. The organization works in partnership with the Charles Darwin Foundation and the Galapagos National Park. Donations can be made on the website.
The National Firearms Museum is located on the ground floor of the National Rifle Associations headquarters. The focus of the museum is the evolution of guns throughout American history and to promote gun collecting. Featured guns on display include Berettas, Ruger, Savage Arms, Colts and many more. A new lineup of "Hollywood Guns," which are guns seen in movies, are now on display.
The IECA's experienced consultants help rising students decide where to study. The association helps place students in colleges, boarding schools, local day schools, international placements, summer activities, schools for special needs and others. The association meets twice a year.
