Three Chimneys Farm Community feels like a real old fashioned neighborhood. The clubhouse looks like an old homestead, complete with a rocking chair front porch. There are three old chimney stacks on the property. The community is located off Windermere Parkway, convenient to both Ga-400 and Highway 141. The YMCA Forsyth is in a new building to the back of Vickery Village, off of Post Road. It offers fitness equipment, personal training and classes for adults and children. You can work out with its free weights, strength machines, spin cycles, treadmills, treadwalkers, ellipticals or stair climbers. Classes are scheduled throughout the day and include yoga, spinning, step, Corepole and Zumba. The schedule changes every 6 to 8 weeks. Depending on the time of year, children can do gymnastics, soccer, swim lessons, or basketball. Child care is available in the mornings and late afternoons in a clean and friendly daycare to kids 6 weeks and up. After school care is also available for kids at Vickery Creek. There is a pool with lap lanes, a hot tub and sauna. Family dressing rooms are available.

This organization, dating back to 1898, was founded due to a need for veterans to secure their rights, benefits and band together, thus forming The Veterans of Foreign War. Post 9143 is located on Dahalonega Highway, just off the square in Cumming.
The VFW supports our troops, community, schools and youth through various services. It hosts Bingo on Tuesdays at 7:30pm and Saturdays at 7:00pm. Annual holiday events include a turkey shoot, holiday gift baskets and a Christmas party for children. This VFW also hosts Boy Scout Troop #39.
Members of the Chattahoochee River Club enjoy dining services, fashion shows, themed dinners, wine tastings and other hosted events. Space is available for business functions and the facility, which overlooks the Chattahoochee River, is available for private events.
