The Washington Heights Association represents the interests of the residents of a forty-six-unit condominium building in downtown Stamford. The association supports maintenance, upkeep and improvement of the building, which was completely remodeled in 2009. The building's amenities include saunas, a parking garage, a fitness center and geothermal HV/AC systems in each unit.
The San Manghese Social Club was founded by local residents with cultural and family ties to San Mango, a region of southern Italy. In 1994 they founded the San Manghese Soccer Club, with Frank Coppola being the team's first coach and manager. The club has hosted community events such as the S. Teodoro Feast and the Italian-American Social Clubs Columbus Day Soccer Tournament.
