Operating out of a large, eponymous former warehouse on Fitchburg Street, the Brickbottom Artists Association is one of the oldest artists' associations in the country. This nonprofit organization offers creative workshops, classes and full art programs. Also housing a contemporary art galley, the association is part of the Open Studio program, an endeavor to expand and preserve the arts in and around Boston.
Suzanne Hodes Studio is located the Artists West Studios in the Mill Building on Moody Street near the Charles River. Ms. West is a professional painter and printmaker that has been in the business since 1980. She holds a BA in Fine Arts from Brandeis University and an MFA from Columbia University. Her work covers a variety of themes and mediums and has been featured in numerous collections in Boston and New York City. She is the co-founder of the Artist West Studios in Waltham where her work can be viewed by appointment.
