Baltimore Clayworks, located next to the Enoch Pratt Free Library (branch 21), is a nonprofit organization that aims to build community through art. The beautiful building is home to workshops, classes, community meetings, art exhibits and artist-run community service programs. Studios and kilns are available for artists' use, and all the classes are offered at low or no cost. The building can also be rented for private parties. The organization is very active within the community and hosts many interesting and inspiring events, so be sure to check the calendar regularly to see what it has in the (clay)works.
Brass on Ivory Music is a family owned business bringing out the best of the musical community for over 20 years. It is a full service music store offering a variety of services including instrument sales, repairs, music lessons and tutoring, supplies and rentals.
It offers music lessons for all instruments for all ages, rentals for band and orchestra instruments and accessories such as strings, oil, grease, tuners, reeds and music books.
Private tutoring on Music Theory and Music Reading also available. New, used and consigned equipment is available for purchase. Repairs are done "in house." All repairs are handled in a full-service repair shop on site.

This independently owned and operated store is loaded with acoustic and electric guitars, basses, keyboards, amps, drums, brass instruments, pianos, violins and all things music. The friendly and knowledgeable staff are there to assist and their passion for music shows through. Instrument sales, rentals and repairs are performed by Coffey Music. But don't be surprised to find someone in the store strumming on a guitar, as this is a place where musicians just want to hang out.
