Barnstone Art for Kids offers a variety of arts programs for school-aged children in classroom, small group and one-one-one settings. Classroom programs are available for students in kindergarten through fifth grade in public schools with limited arts resources, and small group and individual lessons are available in six-week sessions and take place after school. Lessons are provided on a volunteer basis.
The Phoenix Village Art Center is a local gallery and instructional institution offering adult, teen and kids art classes. Additionally, the Phoenix Village Art Center can be rented for children's parties at a rate that includes food, instruction and supplies. The gallery's exhibits feature regional artists and alternate on a monthly basis. Studios are also available for rent by artists looking for a workspace.
Diving Cat Studio and Gallery is a creative arts space that displays the creative work of more than 100 local artists and designers. Items in the Gallery include jewelry, glass, metals, folk art, furniture, wood, pottery, photography, textiles, paintings and artistic wearables; many of the items for sale in the gallery are also available for purchase through the Diving Cat web store. Diving Cat Studio and Gallery's pottery studio is fully-equipped, and is used to host pottery classes for adults and children.
