Artist Luis Perez handcrafts wrought-iron art sculptures -everything from giraffes to dinosaurs - and sells them to the public. The mix of jungle animals and prehistoric creatures are displayed in the front and side yards of his home and include a lurching T-Rex. Perez has been creating these sculptures since 1990.

Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions opened in 1978. A small group of artists was looking for a spacious, inexpensive place to house its growing bodies of work and realized there were likely many local artists in need of the same. Today LACE has more than 3,000 events under its belt. More than 5,000 artists have come through here, including those who went on to garner notoriety such as Barbara Kruger, Tony Oursler and John Baldessari. All types of of pieces appear here, including video and digital works, performance art, installations and much more.
