Cal Skate is a recreation center that has been operational for more than 25 years. It arranges various special programs for children and families that include teen dance nights, Christian music family fun nights and home school skate programs. Cal Skate has a skating club that provides solo and team dance instructions for individuals and families. The recreation center s facility includes more than five outdoor batting stalls, a softball pitch and zoo. It offers various sports programs for youth that include hockey, golf, and skating. Additionally, the center rents its facility for fundraising programs, school and church parties and company functions. Cal Skate is located in Chico, Calif.
