The state-of-the-art facility opened in June 2011 and offers two indoor pools, including a 50-meter competition pool with seating for 750 spectators and a 25-yard instructional pool. The competition pool is configured for short-course swimming (25 yards) for the fall and winter, with lanes available to the public during the week and on weekends. Many of the local high school swim teams practice here during the winter months, as well as three year-round USA swim teams. A new addition has been a local dive team, which will practice with the 1– and 3-meter springboards. Please check with the facility or website for specific times and lane availabilities. The instructional pool offers a warmer environment, perfect for water exercise and swim lesson programs. The facility also partners with Northside-Forsyth Hospital for physical therapy. The instructional pool is available for public use during Adult Swim and Open Swim times.
