Atascocita Animal Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility with a homelike atmosphere. Atascocita Animal Hospital provides diagnostic, surgical, medical, dental, x-ray, laboratory, endoscopy and preventive medical services for dogs, cats and other domestic pets. Our surgery suites and intensive care units are perhaps the most impressive of any animal hospital in our area. Surgery tables have hydraulic lifts and built-in heating to keep our patients warm during surgical procedures. Our ICU has automated, sliding glass doors that serve a dual purpose: they protect patients and give them a quiet, comfortable place to recover, and they also allow for close visual monitoring by doctors and nursing staff. Veterinary Economics voted Atascocita Animal Hospital “Hospital of the Year” in 2007. We are AAHA accredited and are qualified for a backyard habitat designation by the National Wildlife Federation and Texas Parks and Wildlife. Our beautiful Texas sandstone façade is complimented by extensive, lush landscaping which includes a cascading waterfall and quiet pond. The landscape intentionally includes plants that attract wildlife. We are bird, bee and butterfly friendly! It is not uncommon for us to enjoy 25 monarch butterflies fluttering in the garden at one time.
